Summary

Join Wrike as a Sales Development Representative (SDR) and be the first point of contact for potential customers. You will build relationships, identify customer needs, and qualify sales opportunities. The role involves supporting marketing efforts, understanding buyer personas, conducting prospect research, and personalizing outreach. You will persuade prospects to meet with Account Executives, qualify opportunities to improve conversion rates, and route qualified leads. You will utilize tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Groove, and Salesforce, collaborating with other SDRs and marketing. Success requires eagerness to learn, fluency in English, and availability for EST working hours.

Requirements

  • Eagerness to learn and excel in Sales
  • Full fluency in English
  • The candidate must be open to supporting Eastern Standard Time (EST) working hours. The typical working hours for this role will be from 8 AM to 5 PM EST. Flexibility may be required to accommodate business needs and team collaboration

Responsibilities

  • By supporting marketing efforts by following up on inbound leads and inquiries
  • By understanding our buyer personas and the needs/“pains” of your market
  • By conducting research on the prospect and their organization and leveraging thoughtful personalization in your outreach across email, phone, and LinkedIn
  • By persuading prospects to have a call or take a meeting with a Wrike Account Executive
  • By qualifying prospects to help improve conversion rates from Discovery Call to Opportunity
  • By routing qualified opportunities to the appropriate Account Executives for further development and closure
  • By using tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Groove, and Salesforce
  • By working closely with other SDRs, Senior Sales Executives, and Marketing to improve and perfect our messaging

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
  • 1+ years’ experience in Sales Development or a similar role in a B2B business
  • Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills, strong writing skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Demonstrated success in reaching monthly and quarterly targets
  • Experience with CRM and opportunity management systems, preferably Salesforce
  • Strong work ethic and a ‘Can Do’ attitude
