Summary

Requirements

  • 0-2 years of experience in a sales or customer-facing environment
  • Demonstrable experience and proficiency in high-pressure, competitive situations
  • You have outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal; you have a track record of giving successful presentations
  • Ability to think on your feet in conversation and answer unexpected questions with ease
  • Demonstrate empathy for customer struggles and challenges
  • Intellectually curious
  • Resilient in the face of objections and rejection
  • Willingness and desire to work in a fast-paced and high-growth environment
  • Passionate about sales and the sales process
  • Highly organized and able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Easily builds rapport and establishes relationships with prospects
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to convey them over the phone
  • Willingness to try new concepts and open to coaching
  • Ability to develop confidence in using programs like Salesforce and LinkedIn
  • Proficient with MS Office or Google Docs

Responsibilities

  • Make 60+ outbound phone calls each day
  • Execute creative outbound prospecting within your assigned accounts
  • Conduct high-level conversations with mid and senior-level prospects, explaining the value proposition of ZipRecruiter
  • Leverage sales tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Navigator to network with potential customers
  • Achieve daily/weekly/monthly metrics (appointments, qualified leads, etc.)
  • Gain business knowledge through researching how different industries operate, leadership structures, and pain points and challenges our clients face each day
  • Collaborate with the Account Executive on qualified meetings
  • Attend daily huddles to celebrate wins and goals
