Requirements
- Proven experience as an Jet Charter Broker (a minimum of 5+ years of actual jet charter sales experience)
- Recent history of selling trips that (annually) total in the millions of dollars (a must)
- In-depth knowledge of private aviation and charter operations
- Ability to independently identify likely sales leads
- Proven track record of creating domestic and international air charter solutions
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Sharp and effective communication skills via phone, email and in person
- Reap enjoyment from advancing towards goals and objectives in a competitive environment
- Has a good balance between independent and team-oriented work
Responsibilities
- Work with your network of charter clients to successfully introduce them to Blade's services
- Pro-actively targeting your list through outbound sales calls, emails and visits (both face-to-face and virtual) and converting them from potential clients to Blade Clients
- Lead generation calls to identify new potential Clients
- Respond to charter pricing requests with accurate pricing in a timely and professional manner
- Manage and build relationships with charter operators and high-net-worth private clients (to generate new business)
- Working closely with flier relations, flier experience, flight operations, and corporate leadership to ensure flights are executed at the highest level of service and communications throughout
- Work with our Ground Connect team on catering and ground transportation services
- Accessible by phone outside of office hours, as needed, in a dynamic, on-demand industry (Receiving inbound requests for urgent charters virtually 24/7.)
- Manage charter bookings from enquiry to completion
- Identify and generate new business leads
- Pro-actively target a list of Clients through outbound calls, emails and meetings
- Source and negotiate with aircraft operators to secure optimal charter solutions
- Develop and maintain relationships with Clients to ensure recurring business
- Exceed both sales activity and financial targets
