Summary
Join Celonis, a global leader in Process Mining technology, as a Sales Director! Lead and manage a team of 6 Strategic Account Executives focused on the Pharma & Chemicals industry in Germany and Austria. You will be responsible for exceeding annual sales targets, developing strategic plans, building strong customer relationships, and coaching your team. This role requires exceptional leadership, proven sales success, and strong communication skills in German and English. Requirements
- Demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities and a proven track record of successfully managing a team
- Highly ambitious and competitive mindset, with deep expertise in leading direct sales teams and consistently achieving targets
- Strong personal background in sales , demonstrating success as an individual contributor
- Experience in building and maintaining relationships at the C-suite level, preferably with an established network in the Pharma and/or Chemical industries
- Manage Ability to manage complex, long sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders
- Experience working in both direct and matrix organizational structures
- Demonstrated success in collaborating with Partners , including consulting firms and enterprise technology providers
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in both German (fluent) and English
- Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously, effectively managing time and priorities to achieve objectives
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and high-growth environment, approaching challenges with adaptability , creativity, and a growth mindset
- Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to collaboration, inclusivity, and diversity
- Skilled at leveraging internal resources and fostering teamwork to drive success
Responsibilities
- Hire, manage and develop strong sales talent, drive individual AE success and foster a great team spirit
- Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets within your assigned territory with great control and forecast accuracy
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base in the assigned segment/industry
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer and partner relationships for strong executive alignment and proactive account management
- Support and coach your team to partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives to drive incremental revenue growth
- Effectively communicate the Celonis industry-specific value proposition through proposals and presentations and enable your team to do the same with high quality and deep domain knowledge
