Requirements

  • Has a deep understanding of card access and integrated CCTV applications
  • Experience working with Facilities Managers, Security Managers and Property Managers
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective listening and questioning skills and polished presentation skills are required
  • Candidate must be computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook)
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • 2+ years of Low-Voltage Sales Experience, ideal
  • 2+ years of experience working with Facility Managers, ideal

Responsibilities

  • Foster and build positive customer relations by interfacing with existing customers and calling on new prospects and developing new opportunities within Contra Costa County and the bay area
  • Prepare and present professional proposals that include technical solutions, financial solutions, and overall security entry and surveillance solutions
  • Lead and work in tandem with the projects team to provide a complete solution for both install and service
  • Design Loss Prevention Access Control Systems and Surveillance Systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven track record of success selling service contracts and other recurring (monthly) service revenue in addition to standard installation revenue is a plus
  • Experience in commercial systems business development preferred
  • Ability to develop and execute prospecting and account plans to exceed quotas of $1.5M per year, preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership and communication skills
  • Out of the box thinker
