Requirements
Have a fundamental breadth of technical knowledge in cloud data management, backup and disaster recovery and data analytics
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and direction to Rubrik, customers, and prospects in the development and positioning Rubrik's SaaS applications
- Serve as a trusted technology advisor to customers and serve as a public cloud subject matter expert when positioning Rubrik's cloud capabilities to key accounts
- Lead technical sales calls, gather / analyze customer feedback, and identify trends
- Qualify sales opportunities in the terms of customer technical requirements, competition, decision making process and funding
- Maintain a consistent cadence with product management to ensure product roadmap alignment with customer demands
- Assist with the development of marketing and sales collateral to ensure alignment with customer needs and technical accuracy
- Aid in the development and delivery of technical enablement to Rubrik, channel, and alliance partner sales architects
- Cross-functionally drive the adoption of Rubik's SaaS applications throughout the organization
Preferred Qualifications
- Have 5+ years of sales engineering experience with SaaS backups with a proven track record of success
- Have experience with AWS, GCP, private cloud infrastructure, and/or security solutions
- Be driven – need for success, highly energetic with a strong hands-on, “can do” approach
- Be entrepreneurial - willing to go the extra mile, strong work ethic, resourceful, “get it done” attitude
- Strive in moving in a fast-paced environment; including handling multiple calls/demos per day with immediate follow up
- Have a high level of business acumen and experience working with Cx0 level personnel, bringing technology solutions to solve business challenges
