Summary

Join DevRev as the Head of Sales Execution & Excellence and help build high-performing sales teams. This role focuses on developing Account Executives into impactful professionals, improving daily execution, field readiness, and deal progression. You will work closely with the sales team, providing practical guidance and strategic insights. The ideal candidate has 15+ years of B2B sales experience in senior leadership roles, a proven track record of developing sales talent, and a hands-on coaching style. You will leverage DevRev's AI-native platform to enhance workflows and build a system of ongoing rep development. This is an opportunity to shape the next generation of sales professionals and work with world-class teams and innovative technology.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in B2B sales, including senior leadership roles managing quota-carrying teams
  • A strong track record of recruiting, developing, and mentoring sales talent at scale
  • Deep operational familiarity with sales processes and methodologies regardless of label, you know what great selling looks like
  • A hands-on coaching style that builds trust and credibility with reps and managers alike
  • A passion for technology and a curiosity for how AI and modern platforms are reshaping sales
  • A mindset that values action, iteration, and embedded execution over formal programs or theoretical frameworks

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor and performance partner to AEs and sales leaders across segments and geographies
  • Reporting directly into co-founder, Manoj
  • Coach reps through active deals, call reviews, and opportunity strategy, turning moments into momentum
  • Work cross-functionally with Product and Marketing to ensure messaging and positioning are reflected in daily sales motions
  • Use your expertise in formal sales playbook methodologies to reinforce strong fundamentals: discovery, qualification, value articulation, multithreading, and close planning
  • Identify patterns and performance gaps, and develop real-time interventions that improve rep execution—not theoretical training
  • Leverage DevRev’s own AI-native platform to surface insights, drive adoption of tools, and enhance field workflows
  • Help build a system of ongoing rep development that evolves with our product, market, and customers
