Summary

Join Instacart's Canadian Brand Partnerships team as an experienced advertising sales executive. Manage a portfolio of 10-15 fast-growing CPG brands, developing partnerships and overseeing all aspects of advertising relationships. Empower partners to utilize Instacart's advertising solutions and insights to boost brand growth. Collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities and leverage data to create compelling sales materials. This role requires strong client relationship management, data analysis, and presentation skills. The position is remote, with a base pay range of $113,000-$125,000 CAD, and includes a sales incentive plan, equity grants, and additional benefits.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of experience in a sales environment
  • 2-3+ year of experience in digital advertising or CPG sales
  • Experience in managing client relationships, and partnering to drive measurable growth
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and take initiative in a high paced environment
  • Comfortable analyzing and speaking to CPG and advertising insights and KPIs
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Client service orientation - fast follow ups, a strong sense of ownership
  • Familiarity with tools of the trade (e.g. Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Google Drive, Salesforce)
  • Experience with large data sets and ability to extract business insights from analysis ( Experience in SQL, Tableau preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with advertisers, managing all aspects of the sales cycle for a book of business of 10-15 accounts while also pursuing new relationships and activations across non-active partners
  • Selling with thought leadership & consultative sales skills across the prioritized client base
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, annual planning and budgeting process with partners
  • Analyzing and applying business insights to influence client’s investment decisions
  • Identify and build relationships with executive contacts within your clients
  • Partner with internal teams such as Account Management to identify opportunities
  • Dive deep with data to identify opportunities and develop compelling data driven sales collateral, case studies, and custom ‘stories’ to translate benefits of Instacart’s platform to CPG advertisers business needs
  • Leverage prior experience or interest in the intersection of CPG, Digital & Sales to drive meaningful growth

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in sales at a retail media company with fast growing brands
  • A solid understanding of the CPG environment either through direct sales experience or similar exposure
  • Consistent historic performance of achieving sales quotas, while building strong client relationships
