Requirements
- 7+ yearsβ experience in a sales role with at least 2+ years in an early-stage/ startup environment and advertising sales experience selling to life sciences (pharma or diagnostics)
- Proven history of building successful relationships with brand managers in life science companies
- Exceptional presentation and consultative sales skills; someone with a demonstrated track record of building durable relationships with Senior-level executives at both client and AOR
- Sincere interest in working at a fast-paced, engineering and product-led startup, and the ability to scale with the organization as it grows and its needs change over time
- A passion for healthcare, life sciences, data and analytics, and technology
- Ability to travel to clients
Responsibilities
- Sell current and new strategic digital marketing solutions and ad products
- Develop the strategies needed to help Brand Product teams and Agencies make informed decisions through a consultative sales approach
- Utilize forecasting and business analytical skills to take advantage of opportunities and to expand relationships
- Build strong relationships with agency and brand key decision-makers
- Develop, maintain, and strengthen relationships with key advertising and media buying agencies
- Manage and execute sales processes and activities effectively
- Work closely with Product and Growth to ensure advertising campaigns performance metrics are met/exceeded
- Support marketing team to identify and execute plans for market awareness, client case studies, and market growth within assigned accounts
- Exceed sales quota for assigned business
- Process necessary agreements and work orders
