Summary

Join CPM, a thriving international organization, as their Sales Manager (EMEA)! This key role focuses on driving top-line growth within the briquetting market, managing strategic accounts, and developing strong customer relationships across EMEA. You will be responsible for identifying technical requirements, preparing sales proposals, and staying abreast of industry trends. Based in Europe/UK (Germany, Netherlands, UK preferred), this position requires extensive travel (60%). The ideal candidate possesses a technical bachelor's degree, at least five years of relevant sales experience, and excellent communication skills. Requirements

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Chemical, Process or Mechanical Engineering
  • You are an excellent communicator and business partner who can communicate on at all levels within the customers’ organization, including technical specialists, procurement officers and senior management
  • You are a self-starter, driven and results oriented sales professional with at least five years relevant experience within the alternative fuels industry or in selling technical solutions
  • You enjoy the travelling part of this position and are prepared to travel extensively (60%)
  • Language skills: English and German
  • Residing in Europe

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for top line growth, with the focus on prospecting and establishing new sales
  • Manage strategic accounts including internal coordination ensuring alignment with customer, segment, partners, and global strategies
  • Identify and understand technical requirements of customers and connecting these with CPM’s products and solutions
  • Develop and nurture long-term relationships with new and existing customers
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and contract negotiations
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and competitive offerings
  • Manage participation in trade shows & sales meetings as necessary
  • Provide feedback to improve existing offerings and opportunity areas for new product development
  • Generate trip reports and utilize Sales Force
  • Report to management and colleagues about market developments and new possible opportunities in the industry
