Summary

Join Hive's dynamic team as a Sales Manager, leading and scaling our growing sales team. Reporting to the VP of Revenue, you will drive revenue growth, develop high-performing sales professionals, and implement effective sales strategies. Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams for a cohesive, customer-centric approach. This role requires a proven sales leader with coaching experience, a strategic mindset, and a history of exceeding targets. You will grow and develop a high-performing sales team, drive sales strategy and execution, and raise the bar on sales performance and customer success. You will also be a key player in driving Hive's overall success.

Requirements

  • You have 2+ years of experience in a sales leadership role, with a proven track record of building and managing successful sales teams
  • A deep understanding of the full sales process and best practices, from lead generation through deal closure
  • Hands-on experience selling SaaS solutions to B2B customers
  • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to tracking team performance and identifying areas for growth
  • A skilled coach and mentor, passionate about developing talent and helping team members grow
  • A strategic thinker who can translate business objectives into clear, actionable sales plans
  • An effective communicator, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to present ideas persuasively
  • Highly motivated and results-oriented, with a strong drive to meet and exceed targets
  • You lead by example and inspire your team through your actions and work ethic
  • You are proactive and take ownership of your responsibilities and your team's success

Responsibilities

  • Grow and develop a high-performing sales team
  • Lead, mentor, and coach a team of Account Executives to achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews
  • Identify individual and team training needs and implement development plans
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-energy team environment
  • Champion hiring, onboarding, and development initiatives to attract and retain top sales talent
  • Drive sales strategy and execution
  • Partner with the VP of Revenue to develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics to achieve revenue goals
  • Analyze sales data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and growth
  • Develop and manage sales forecasting and pipeline management processes
  • Ensure the team effectively utilizes sales tools and technologies (e.g., CRM)
  • Contribute to the development of sales materials and presentations in collaboration with marketing
  • Raise the bar on sales performance and customer success
  • Own key sales KPIs, including revenue growth, conversion rates, and customer acquisition cost β€” and drive initiatives to improve them
  • Cultivate a strong focus on understanding customer needs and delivering solutions that provide value
  • Work closely with the Customer Success team to ensure smooth customer onboarding and ongoing satisfaction
  • Monitor and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for sales process and product improvement
  • Be a key player in driving Hive's success
  • Collaborate closely with marketing to align on lead generation strategies and ensure effective lead flow
  • Partner with the Product team to provide feedback on customer needs and market trends
  • Bring a proactive and solution-oriented approach to cross-functional discussions
