Summary

Join FastSpring's Sales Operations team as a Data Analytics Intern for a four-month internship! This role offers exposure to advanced data-driven prospecting and sales hunting techniques in the SaaS FinTech Payments market. You will work closely with the Director of Sales Ops and other key team members, learning analytical assessment and lead generation techniques to drive revenue acceleration. The internship involves using various software like Salesforce, Looker, and others. The hourly rate is $20.00 for 35 hours per week. Successful candidates will possess strong data analysis aptitude, a passion for problem-solving, and a strong work ethic.

Requirements

  • Be a current college/university student (3rd/4th year BA, or Masters) pursuing a relevant degree or a recent graduate
  • Possess strong data analysis aptitude
  • Be eager to learn
  • Have a passion for problem solving
  • Possess a strong work ethic, with an interest in one of a variety of analytical fields (finance, sales/marketing analytics, business analyst, data sciences, IT analytics, etc)

Responsibilities

  • Maintain existing and create new analyses useful in identifying and actioning market opportunities
  • Glean business-actionable insights from analysis, identifying potential business actions to grow market share
  • Build and maintain Salesforce reporting, and use a variety of 3rd party data aggregation and reporting tools used for data-driven prospecting
  • Understand the basic concepts of A/B testing to isolate preferred alternatives
  • Prepare and distribute key sales reports for relevant stakeholders, including leader, and senior leader, and executive audiences
  • Use generative AI to optimize areas of salesforce and business operations
  • Propose campaign change recommendations, as well as campaign execution refinement recommendations based on analysis findings
  • Drive TAM (Total Addressable Market) Analysis & lead selection: analyze a variety of firmographic, technographic, and behavioral data sources and signals used to select areas of campaign focus
  • Configure systems and align data flows across the Sales-Marketing tech stack

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have intermediate Google Office Suite (G-Sheets modeling) and SQL skills
  • Have experience/familiarity working within Salesforce
  • Have experience with Python/R
