You will be responsible for forecasting sales, managing promotional planning, collaborating with various departments, analyzing performance data, and effectively communicating strategies to field teams. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of sales planning or retailer account management experience within the CPG industry, with mandatory Target headquarter level experience. Passion for Target, strong internal and external relationship building skills, and a deep understanding of customer behavior are crucial for success.
Requirements

- Target headquarter level experience is mandatory for this role

- Competence in Google Suite and Microsoft Suite
- Must be able to work flexible hours and travel, including evenings and weekends for special events/tradeshows
- Clean driverβs license, reliable transportation and proof of insurance
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage accurate sales, production, and operational targets based on historical data, market trends, and business forecasts
- Maintaining accurate promotional planning and spending information across our planning tools
- Ensure contracts/submissions are up to date and tracked effectively
- Support with post Promotional Analysis to ensure the strongest ROI on trade strategy
- Work with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply and other departments to ensure alignment on targets, timelines, strategies and resource allocation
- Analyze performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks
- Prepare and deliver regular reports and presentations on performance
- Effectively communicate strategies and priorities to field teams, 3rd party merchandising partners, and broker partners to optimize sales at Target
- Provide necessary customer support functions, along with broker team, to ensure optimal sales and revenue to be realized
- Oversee the input and management of promotional plans in customer portals
- Ensure accurate item set up in retail customer system including specs and content
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with team collaboration tools such as Slack and Zoom preferred
