Summary
Join Verve's dynamic team as a Sales Team Lead, driving business growth and strengthening client relationships within the iGaming sector. This remote position in Malta requires a strategic sales leader with digital advertising and programmatic media expertise. You will lead a high-performing team, develop strategic partnerships, and drive revenue growth. The role demands strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills, along with a deep understanding of the iGaming ecosystem and programmatic advertising. Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in sales, account management, or business development within iGaming, programmatic advertising, or digital media
- 2+ years of experience in managing a team
- Proven ability to generate revenue growth, manage key accounts, and build long-term strategic partnerships
- Deep understanding of the iGaming ecosystem, including player acquisition, retention strategies, and industry regulations
- Strong understanding of programmatic advertising, DSPs, SSPs, and other digital marketing tools relevant to iGaming, with a minimum of 1-2 years experience
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- A highly analytical mindset, leveraging performance data to drive sales strategies and business decisions
Responsibilities
- Lead Sales & Account Management – Drive sales and account management efforts within the iGaming sector, fostering a culture of performance, collaboration, and growth
- Develop Strategic Partnerships – Act as the primary liaison for key iGaming demand partners, leveraging data-driven insights to optimize performance and maximize revenue
- Drive Revenue Growth – Identify new business opportunities, upsell additional services, and implement strategies to expand our footprint in the iGaming market
- Conduct High-Impact Meetings – Lead client-facing meetings, including QBRs, to align on goals, analyze performance, and uncover growth opportunities
- Consultative Selling & Account Optimization – Provide tailored recommendations and execute strategic initiatives to enhance campaign effectiveness and client success
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally – Work closely with Business Development, Finance, Operations, Product, and Supply teams to ensure best-in-class service for our partners
- Stay Ahead of Industry Trends – Keep up to date with programmatic advertising advancements, regulatory changes, and emerging trends in the iGaming sector
- Enhance Sales Processes – Develop, document, and roll out streamlined workflows to improve efficiencies in sales operations and account management
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
