Summary

Join Aequilibrium as a Salesforce Practice Lead & Architect to spearhead the growth of their Salesforce services and assume technical ownership of key client projects. This pivotal role demands a blend of leadership and hands-on technical expertise, requiring you to translate business needs into robust, scalable, and high-performing solutions. You will define and implement AEQ’s Salesforce practice roadmap, mentor and recruit Salesforce professionals, and lead technical aspects of client engagements. The position initially starts as a consultant contractor, with the potential for a full-time transition. This is a remote position open to Canadian citizens or permanent residents only.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Salesforce platform architecture, development, and solution delivery
  • 3+ years in a technical leadership or practice-building capacity
  • Proficient in Apex, LWC (Lightning Web Components), Visualforce, SOQL, and platform automation (Flows, Process Builder)
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Gearset, Copado, Jenkins) and source control (e.g., Git)
  • Proven success integrating Salesforce with external platforms using REST, SOAP, or platform events
  • Strong understanding of security, governance, and Salesforce limits in enterprise-grade deployments
  • Familiarity with agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe) and technical documentation best practices
  • Salesforce certifications: Required: Salesforce Platform Developer I & II, Application Architect or System Architect

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute AEQ’s Salesforce practice roadmap
  • Establish delivery frameworks, coding standards, and reusable design patterns
  • Mentor and recruit Salesforce developers, architects, and consultants
  • Lead technical discovery, architectural design, and end-to-end implementation of Salesforce solutions
  • Define multi-cloud and multi-org architectures (Sales, Service, Experience, Marketing Cloud)
  • Drive integration strategies with external systems (e.g., .NET, Azure APIs, MDM, and banking or financial systems)
  • Optimize Salesforce org health, including technical debt reduction, code quality, and CI/CD setup
  • Conduct code reviews, design reviews, and performance tuning for mission-critical implementations
  • Act as the technical lead on strategic engagements (e.g. financial institutions, public sector)
  • Partner with AEQ’s business and UX leads to align architecture with customer experience goals
  • Support proposals, RFPs, and client workshops by providing architectural leadership and delivery plans

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with public sector or regulated industries
  • Familiarity with Azure services, API Management, and .NET backend ecosystems
  • Working knowledge of accessibility standards and UI/UX best practices within Salesforce constraints
  • Experience working in multi-org environments and Center of Excellence (CoE) setup
