Responsibilities

  • Autonomously develop and achieve revenue goals for team business within an assigned or net new account
  • Be responsible for overall account leadership and client relationships on assigned or net new accounts
  • Lead the strategic development, acquisition and kickoff of new business and account growth for assigned accounts
  • Manage team administration tasks, including forecasts, budgets, revenues & expenditures, and business planning
  • Maintain a positive contribution to the team dynamic, providing support and consistently role modeling the balance between efficiency, care, and influence
  • Monitor health and structure of project teams, within responsible accounts, to proactively take action to adjust or respond to any issues or opportunities in order to maintain or grow team morale and efficiency
  • Manage and lead executive producers through Instrumentโ€™s methodology and best practices as assigned
  • Advise and mentor executive producers on recommended approaches for specific accounts, project types or project teams to support the overall development of individuals and the production discipline

The Senior Account Director position is accountable for client and revenue growth of a specific book of business. With support of VP, Client Accounts, they are focused on delivering on team goals through client business impact and growthโ€“planning and defining the team necessary to support and grow, in partnership with vertical leads. The Senior Account Director will foster lasting relationships and partnerships with clients through a deep understanding of client partners business challenges, providing strategic business planning and actionable insight.

The Senior Account Director is responsible for generating and maintaining a portfolio of business, and supporting AVP, Client Accounts in securing new business opportunities. They understand the team’s revenue goals, their client business, and are constantly modifying their strategy and approach to meet their assigned revenue target. The Senior Account Director operates as an exceptional and inspirational leader for our clients and internal teams. They are seen as a trusted advisor, advocate, and conduit for great work.

What You’ll Do

  • Autonomously develop and achieve revenue goals for team business within an assigned or net new account, innovating and strategizing with support of VP, Client Accounts when necessary to ensure success
  • Be responsible for overall account leadership and client relationships on assigned or net new accounts, developing key relationships that position Instrument as a strategic advisor and innovative long term partner
  • Lead the strategic development, acquisition and kickoff of new business and account growth for assigned accounts
  • Under guidance of VP, Client Accounts, manage team administration tasks, including but not limited to: forecasts, budgets, revenues & expenditures, and business planning
  • Maintain a positive contribution to the team dynamic, providing support and consistently role modeling the balance between efficiency, care, and influence
  • Monitor health and structure of project teams, within responsible accounts, to proactively take action to adjust or respond to any issues or opportunities in order to maintain or grow team morale and efficiency
  • Manage and lead executive producers through Instrumentโ€™s methodology and best practices as assigned
  • Advise and mentor executive producers on recommended approaches for specific accounts, project types or project teams to support the overall development of individuals and the production discipline
  • Partner with Discipline Leadership to identify and respond to needs and opportunities for enhancing the level of craft within the production discipline through, work shares, process optimizations and internal and external knowledge sharing

Pay Range

  • The expected pay range for this position is $135,000 - $160,000 for our base US Region 3*. We have three regional pay ranges that are adjusted for cost of living (US1 +15%, US2 +7.5%, US3 Base), *learn more about our pay philosophy and cost of living adjustments.
