Summary
Join 5X as their first India-based sales representative and contribute to the company's rapid growth. This role focuses on selling to the US market, primarily managing opportunities in the $20-50k range. You will collaborate closely with the GTM team, qualifying leads, developing outbound strategies, and penetrating top accounts. Success requires strong closing skills, complex deal management, and consistent prospecting. The ideal candidate possesses extensive SaaS sales experience, a proven track record of exceeding quotas, and a passion for the modern data stack. Requirements
- 2-5+ years of closing experience selling SaaS with deal sizes in the $20-50k range
- Experience selling in the US
- Experience in the “modern data stack” and comfortable talking about the various different vendors in categories in the space
- A background of overachievement in academics, sports, music, entrepreneurship, or extracurricular activities
- Strong writing, interpersonal, presentation, and organization skills
- High business IQ – comfortable with business value assessments and ROI documents
Responsibilities
- Qualify interest from inbound prospects and determine where to invest your time to maximize revenue
- Partner with Outbound team to build a multi-channel outbound strategy (calls, emails, linkedin, video, events, connections) with a high-volume of quality activity
- Develop a strategy to break into top accounts, form a PoV, and consistently build pipeline
- Build champions, enable buyers, conduct discovery, run POCs and data tests, build and execute demos, and close deals
Preferred Qualifications
- You are a “doer” with a high motor who has seen what great marketing looks like
- You have been described as creative, ability to “figure things out” and have no problem adjusting decks, helping with marketing collateral, assisting with events, etc
- Knowledgeable and/or interested in go-to-market tech, startups, and growth
