Requirements

  • 5+ years enterprise sales experience in higher education (high preference for experience in edtech and/or bookstore sales)
  • Proven track record as a top performer
  • A creative and consultative selling approach and ability to present to groups with executives & many stakeholders
  • Has successfully implemented a sales methodology, applying it rigorously to drive results in a way that will distinguish the company from its competitors
  • Strong relationship-builder with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivated

Responsibilities

  • Management of a regional territory in the US
  • Create an annual and quarterly territory plan to achieve the assigned quota
  • Work with SDR and Marketing teams on strategies for assigned territory
  • Attend Marketing events and plan in-person prospect visits to drive pipeline
  • Tailor and conduct highly professional and engaging sales presentations
  • Build relationships with current customers to generate pipeline and advance deals
  • Maintain an accurate sales forecast
  • Collaborate with RFP Proposal Manager to assess and respond to tenders in the territory
  • Provide regular feedback to Marketing and Product on customer and industry trends to improve messaging, positioning, and our product/service offerings
