Summary

Join Go Vocal, a global govtech scale-up, as a Senior Account Executive (US) to expand their client base across the United States. You will be responsible for driving growth in the US market by securing new city partnerships and shaping Go Vocal's presence in the region. Your role involves managing the sales cycle, identifying opportunities with local governments, presenting tailored solutions, and building lasting partnerships. You will also contribute to market development by launching outreach campaigns, representing Go Vocal at conferences, and building relationships with key decision-makers. Collaboration with the US team and other departments is crucial to align efforts and provide local insights. This role requires a strong understanding of the US local government landscape and proven success in B2B SaaS sales or partnerships.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, business development, or partnerships
  • Proven track record in SLED / public sector sales or deep understanding of US local government
  • Consultative seller with a structured approach and high close rate
  • Excellent communicator who connects with people across channels and formats
  • Outcome-driven, independent, and ready to take ownership of a key market
  • Collaborative by default: you thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven team
  • Based in the US, ideally Central or Eastern time zones

Responsibilities

  • Own the sales cycle from prospecting to closing
  • Identify opportunities with local governments
  • Present tailored solutions
  • Turn interest into lasting partnerships
  • Bring structure to our go-to-market motion
  • Launch outreach campaigns
  • Represent Go Vocal at conferences
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers
  • Become an industry expert and apply consultative selling techniques
  • Work closely with the US team (currently five people) and with product, marketing, and customer success to align efforts and feed local insights back into our strategy
