Requirements

  • 5+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience, with a successful track record selling to Fortune 500 companies
  • 3+ years of CCaaS, CAI, or AI/Automation sales experience
  • Proven ability to close $1M+ in annual quota with individual deal sizes in the 6- and 7-figure range
  • Exceptional at managing complex, multi-threaded sales cycles with VP and C-level stakeholders
  • A self-starter who can independently drive deals forward while embracing a team-oriented sales motion
  • Strong business acumen and a consultative mindset; you bring insight and structure to every customer conversation
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Responsibilities

  • Drive strategic new business opportunities with Fortune 500 companies across your assigned U.S. territory
  • Leverage and co-sell with partner ecosystems, BDRs, and internal teams to maximize coverage and pipeline development
  • Independently manage full sales cycles, from territory planning and prospecting to discovery, solutioning, negotiation, and close
  • Engage senior decision-makers (Director to C-level) with a consultative, value-based approach; build business cases, ROI models, and transformation roadmaps
  • Act as a subject-matter expert and trusted advisor on AI-powered customer engagement strategies
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Presales, Marketing, Product, Finance, and Leadership to drive deal velocity and customer success
  • Represent Cognigy at industry events and customer-facing forums
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and opportunity hygiene within CRM

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical sales experience in CCaaS, CAI, AI/Automation is a plus
  • Experience working in or selling through a partner/channel model; you're comfortable influencing without direct control
