Requirements
- 10+ years of sales experience
- Proven success in selling complex products into Group Benefits and/or Life Carriers
- Strong familiarity with the insurance industry, particularly large carrier operations and stakeholder structures
- History of retaining and expanding multi-million-dollar enterprise accounts through strategic, value-driven relationship management
- Executive presence with the ability to build and sustain trust with senior decision-makers across business and technical functions
- Strategic, analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decisions and account planning
- Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills; highly collaborative and client-centric
Responsibilities
- Own and manage a portfolio of existing enterprise insurance clients and a target list of named prospects
- Prospect into and close business at assigned net new accounts
- Serve as the primary sales lead for stakeholders, ensuring strong alignment between client goals and our platformβs value
- Partner with Client Services to manage and optimize retention metrics, including renewal rates, platform engagement, and account health indicators
- Identify and support expansion opportunities within client organizations through needs discovery and strategic positioning
- Anticipate and mitigate risks to the relationship; act quickly to resolve issues and protect account value
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Client Services, and Engineering teams to ensure seamless delivery and ongoing value realization
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in CRM and contribute to forecasting and reporting
