Summary

Join Minitab as a Senior Account Executive and become the primary point of contact for prospects and customers. You will manage enterprise accounts, identify sales opportunities, and develop account plans to generate new and renewal business. This role involves building strong customer relationships, measured by reference ability, satisfaction, and recurring revenue. You'll work independently within your territory, managing your own book of business and leveraging Minitab's innovative cloud products. A sales enablement program and career ladder support your growth. The position offers a competitive base salary, uncapped commission, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Requirements

  • Be intellectually curious and seek to uncover your customer’s unique business problems that lead to a winning outcome for both Minitab and our customers
  • Be passionate about delivering on your goals and objectives, winning deals and have a consistent track record of 100%+ achievement on your assigned quotas
  • Be highly skilled in value based selling of complex software solutions to enterprise accounts (1B+) over 6-9 month sales cycles
  • Have mastered how to manage your time and effectively manage your territory while working collaboratively to resolve conflicts and ensure follow through to drive software license, maintenance and services revenue

Responsibilities

  • Participate in a virtual account team-selling environment
  • Be the primary point of contact and relationship owner for Minitab with prospects and customers
  • Assume ownership of assigned enterprise accounts and territory
  • Drive the identification and qualification of new sales opportunities
  • Develop and execute account and opportunity plans leading to the generation of both new business (new logo, cross-sell, upsell, consulting & training) and renewal business through software product license/subscriptions and service offerings
  • Facilitate and maintain successful relationships with customers
  • Manage your time and effectively manage your territory while working collaboratively to resolve conflicts and ensure follow through to drive software license, maintenance and services revenue

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in selling complex software solutions to enterprise accounts (1B+) over 6-9 month sales cycles
