Summary
Join Octagon as a Senior Account Executive and contribute to the successful execution of sponsorship campaigns for a major global airline client. This role involves supporting senior team members in property planning, activation, and programming. You will build strong client and partner relationships, deliver comprehensive reporting, and ensure program plans are effectively implemented. The position offers flexibility with hybrid or remote work options (East Coast hours required) and is based in Stamford, CT, New York, NY, Charlotte, NC, Atlanta, GA, or Chicago, IL. A writing assignment is part of the hiring process. The position offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a related field
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively under short deadlines and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to initiate work (self-starter)
- A βpitch inβ, βroll up your sleevesβ attitude and work ethic
- Excellent communication skills β both written and verbal
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Willingness to travel to assist with onsite activations and programs as needed. Anticipated Travel: Low (10-25%)
- Ability to communicate professionally in environments with high-profile members of the brand and properties
Responsibilities
- Assist the Account team in the execution of campaigns for select properties
- Prepare activity summaries and reports indicating results and recommended enhancements
- Assist in creating formal documentation for projects (i.e., status reports, budgets, and presentations)
- Assist with copy, image, and Intellectual Property approvals with select partners, sponsorship, and brand teams
- Liaise with agency partners on all campaigns where assigned
- Support identification of new activation opportunities, industry trends, and new partnership evaluations
- Maintain and update specs and deadline calendar, and image database for all creative assets
- Track and assist in managing sponsorship payment and renewal schedule with client contacts
- Other related duties as assigned
