Summary
Join SecurityScorecard's top-performing sales team in Japan as a Senior Account Executive, focusing on large enterprise accounts. You will prospect and engage with senior decision-makers in Information Security and Risk teams, leveraging your market understanding to present SecurityScorecard's solutions. Work closely with prospects, customers, and internal teams to drive adoption and growth. This role requires a consultative, customer-first approach, strong executive presence, and deep understanding of account planning and strategic selling in the Japanese market. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in enterprise software sales, particularly in cybersecurity, and a proven track record of exceeding quota. This position reports to the Japan Country Manager.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise software sales, with a focus on hunting and new business acquisition
- 5+ years of experience selling cybersecurity solutions
- Proven track record of exceeding quota, especially with $1M+ ARR targets
- Experience closing 6- and 7-figure deals with enterprise clients in Japan
- Strong local network within Japan’s security and risk community
- Comfortable working with CRM systems and sales tools
- Deep understanding of business practices and buying cycles in Japan
Responsibilities
- Prospect and engage with senior decision-makers in Information Security and Risk teams across the region
- Leverage your relationships and deep understanding of the local market to present the value of SecurityScorecard’s solutions
- Work closely with prospects, customers, and internal teams to drive adoption and growth
