Summary

Join our team as a Senior Account Manager (Sales Executive) to identify new sales opportunities and potential clients in software technology. This role plays a crucial part in building and maintaining solid business relationships, focusing not only on closing sales but also understanding client needs and ensuring the company can effectively meet those needs in the long term.

Requirements

  • +7 years experience in sales
  • Experience in prospecting/hunting clients, with emphasis on banking
  • Be a legal resident of Colombia
  • Availability to travel (corporate trips included)
  • Experience with IT market services (desirable)
  • Client portfolio (desirable)
  • Level of English: conversational or advanced (desirable)

Responsibilities

  • Identify new clients to the company and provide them with business solutions that represent new projects for the company
  • Understand client needs to convert them into concrete business opportunities for the company
  • Identify market needs, services demanded, and client needs; with the aim of identifying if our services align with the market and adjusting the offer
  • Negotiate with business partners to carry out integrated proposals and value for the client
  • Follow up on commercial performance metrics to ensure correct and timely compliance with established goals
  • Prepare commercial presentations suitable for each project
  • Indicate production resources needed for the launch of projects after closing negotiations with the client
  • Budget service for each project, ensuring costs and profits are covered (negotiation of discounts, flexibility of costs)
  • Coordinate the formation of teams for projects every time a business opportunity is closed
  • Control and follow-up on the pre-contractual part of projects until the contract is signed or the project begins
  • Keep CRM updated with client, prospect, and project information
  • Follow up monthly on client payments to recover 'cash flow' and maintain expected profitability
  • Maintain communication with PMs to know the status of project execution, detect conflict areas or new opportunities
  • Ensure that what is stipulated in the contractual finalization of contracts is met
