This role requires managing a portfolio of strategic partners, coordinating with internal stakeholders, utilizing Wakam's internal tools, identifying upselling/cross-selling opportunities, monitoring account profitability, and representing Wakam at client meetings and industry events. The ideal candidate possesses a Master's degree in a relevant field, 8+ years of experience in account management or business development within the insurance sector, and excellent commercial acumen. Requirements

  • A Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Business, Insurance, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in Account Management or Business Development within the insurance sector
  • Excellent commercial acumen and ability to manage complex multi-stakeholder projects
  • Proven experience in client relationship management, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Advanced use of CRM and digital tools, with a data-driven mindset
  • Mandatory fluency in French and English (spoken and written)

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of strategic partners (brokers, MGAs, insurtechs, fintechs, retailers, and marketplaces)
  • Ensure operational coordination with internal stakeholders (Underwriting, Pricing, Delivery, Compliance, Legal)
  • Be a key user of Wakam’s internal tools (MyWakam, CRM, AI agents)
  • Identify and develop upselling, cross-selling, and product extension opportunities
  • Monitor account profitability and technical performance, working closely with Finance and Underwriting
  • Represent Wakam in client meetings, steering committees, and industry events
