Remote Senior Accountant

Join Ada as Senior Accountant and lead the execution of full-cycle month-end accounting, supporting day-to-day financial operations and contributing to the company's mission to automate customer service.

Requirements

• 2 - 4 years of experience in a full-cycle month-end accounting role, preferably in a tech or B2B SaaS environment
• Completed CPA designation
• Experience with NetSuite and its Advanced Revenue Management (ARM) module
• Experience with IFRS
• Experience reporting with multiple currencies and complex consolidations

Responsibilities

• Execute the full cycle month-end close process
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of revenue by processing contracts and contract amendments into NetSuite on a timely basis
• Preparation of revenue recognition entries and related monthly reports and reconciliations, including variance analyses of subscription revenue
• Preparation and analysis of month over month variances in the balance sheet and income statement
• Assist with finance operations tasks, including issuing customer invoices, customer collections and processing customer billing requests
• Assist with the annual audit of the consolidated financial statements
• Create and update process documentation where necessary
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in the month-end close cycle
