Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field (CPA-level) with at least 5+ years of experience
• Experience with QuickBooks Online
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including journal entries, bank reconciliations, and account reconciliations
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements (income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements)
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and potential issues
• Assist with tax preparation and filing, utilizing Thompson Reuters software
• Manage accrual accounting processes, including depreciation and amortization
• Oversee debt management activities, including loan payments and interest calculations
• Proficiently utilize QuickBooks Online and Desktop
• Gain proficiency in Reach Reporting for consolidations and a cash flow tool
• Explore the potential of Jirav for budgeting and forecasting
• Participate in weekly team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and best practices
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and efficient operations
