Senior Accountant

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years in accounting, with demonstrated experience in bookkeeping and tax preparation
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Online
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly to clients
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of 4-5 accountants, ensuring high-quality output and professional growth
• Review and approve the work of junior accountants, ensuring compliance with accounting standards
• Interact with clients to review financial statements, discuss key metrics, and answer questions
• Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to streamline onboarding and internal processes
• Oversee bookkeeping and prepare tax returns for small business clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with or interest in tools like Docket, Talipor, Trueprep.ai , and Numero.io
• Experience creating SOPs and an interest in leveraging AI tools to enhance accounting processes
