Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience
- High attention to detail and level of accuracy
- Experience working with multiple foreign currencies
- Ability to work in a high-growth, fast-paced, and changing environment
- Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- 3 year / Bachelorβs degree in Accounting or similar
Responsibilities
- Support month-end close process including timely completion of tasks and resolution of issues
- Complete monthly account reconciliations for assigned balance sheet accounts
- Analyze balance fluctuations on specific accounts and provide an explanation for drivers of change
- Prepare US GAAP entries and other adjusting journal entries
- Collaborate with international bookkeeping service providers to understand local accounting requirements
- Reconcile statutory financials of international subsidiaries to US GAAP financials
- Prepare various journal entries with supporting documentation with an understanding of related accounting standards
- Reconcile intercompany accounts monthly and resolve any variances
- Review purchase requests for proper general ledger coding
- Identify and drive process improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency
- Support and enhance ongoing SOX controls
- Assist Staff Accountants with reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting as needed
- Assist with annual audit requirements and integration of acquisitions
- Assist Accounting Manager with special projects and other duties as assigned
