Summary

Join Lodgify, a fast-growing vacation rental software company, as a Senior Accountant and play a key role in the Finance Team. You will ensure financial operations compliance, implement new financial processes, and work with a diverse international team. Key responsibilities include bank reconciliations, bookkeeping, intercompany billing, month-end reporting, and tax filings. The ideal candidate possesses a finance/accounting degree, 3-4 years of experience, native/near-native Spanish and English fluency, and strong analytical skills. Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
  • At least 3-4 years of related experience
  • Native/near-native speaker in Spanish and English
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures (Spanish GAAP)
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Ability to work under pressure with hard-working ethics
  • Strong diligence and attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Perform weekly bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records
  • Handle bookkeeping and journal postings to support financial accuracy and compliance
  • Manage intercompany billing, netting, and reconciliations to maintain consistency across entities
  • Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting activities
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and analyze variances to support financial health monitoring
  • Support the external audit process by providing necessary documentation and analysis
  • Prepare monthly (VAT, SII, 349) and annual tax filings for multiple jurisdictions, including Spain, the UK, and the US

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a high-growth startup or scale-up environment, ideally building processes from scratch
  • Proficiency with tools like Notion, Netsuite, Embat & Excel
