Requirements
- Has 4+ years of accounting experience including previous experience at a Big 4 accounting firm
- Has a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or other related degree, and holds a CPA designation or is in the process of obtaining the designation
- Possesses advanced knowledge in Excel or Google Sheets
- Shows a track record of critical thinking and problem-solving independently, including past experience implementing accounting improvements
Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end processes and support with quarter-end processes, including annual reporting preparation
- Complete account reconciliations, continuity schedules, and journal entries including expense accruals and stock-based compensation
- Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
- Assist with regulatory reporting requirements (public company reporting, US sales and use tax, annual corporate tax, indirect tax)
- Assist in the audit and review processes with external auditors
- Build procedures to create efficiencies, including system implementations and documenting internal control processes
- Train and provide mentorship to other team members on accounting systems and processes
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Workday Financials
- Previous experience working in SaaS
