Senior Accountant

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3-7 years of relevant experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or related field
• Experience with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks Online)
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
• Strong work ethic, high integrity, and a team-player

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including but not limited to recording financial transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and managing accounts payable and receivable
• Execute month-end closings by preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and generating reports for management review
• Conduct regular journal entries to accurately reflect business transactions and ensure compliance with accounting principles
• Perform weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations of accounts to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities by providing financial data and insights
• Collaborate with accounting team, senior management and external auditors for yearend audits and tax filings
