Join Nearform as a Senior DevOps Engineer and contribute to designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure for scalable and reliable applications. You will be responsible for managing cloud-based infrastructure on Azure, creating CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring security best practices. Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployment workflows and advise clients on best practices. This contract, full-time, remote position is based in Poland and requires significant experience in a senior engineering role, including expertise in Azure, IaC, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. Requirements
- Significant experience delivering at a Senior Engineer level
- Our Seniors typically have at least 6 yearsβ commercial experience
- Practical experience and knowledge of developing real-world solutions
- Practical experience of delivering in an agile environment
- Strong experience managing and automating cloud-based infrastructure Azure
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation
- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools, ideally Kubernetes (K8s)
- Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, ideally with GitHub Actions or Jenkins
- Scripting and automation expertise, preferably with Python
- Experience with observability tools and monitoring frameworks for system performance optimization
- Solid understanding of security best practices across cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and microservices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Professional proficiency in English
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage cloud-based infrastructure on Azure
- Create and maintain deployment architectures and continuous delivery pipelines
- Design high-availability and fault-tolerant solutions for applications
- Implement monitoring frameworks, including dashboards, alerts, and escalation processes
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Manage containerized applications and orchestrating deployments using Kubernetes
- Ensure security best practices are applied across CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and microservices
- Optimize system performance and scalability through observability and proactive monitoring
- Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployment workflows and improve DevOps processes
- Advise clients on best practices for cloud infrastructure, deployment automation, and system security
- Engage in technical discussions with stakeholders and supporting project execution to ensure timely delivery
- Assist with the analysis of client requirements
- Work with and support Technical Leaders in project execution and timely delivery
