Summary

The job is for a Senior Business Development Manager in Asia-Pacific region to take ownership of the go-to-market and build a B2B sales pipeline. The role requires understanding complex technical products and concepts, building relationships with industry contacts, attending regional events, and end-to-end selling. The candidate should have relevant experience in the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry, sophisticated interpersonal skills, be a native Mandarin speaker fluent in English, and be located in APAC.

Requirements

  • In-depth understanding & relevant experience in the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry
  • 5+ years of relevant sales experience in crypto business/fintech/venture capital/early-stage startups
  • Significant experience prospecting over email, LinkedIn, events, network, etc
  • You have closed complex enterprise deals using a proven sales methodology
  • Adept written and analytical skills for deal analysis and internal reporting
  • Sophisticated interpersonal skills to understand people, their motivations and have convincing conversations
  • Strong ability to work well within a team and to be self-guided on a day-to-day basis
  • Native Mandarin speaker fluent in English

Responsibilities

  • Build and expand a pipeline of both crypto and non-crypto integration partners across all verticals (e.g. DeFi, TradFi, Fintech, GameFi, NFTs, etc.)
  • Leverage existing network and contacts in the blockchain space for key integrations
  • Attend relevant regional events representing LI.FI , lead speaking engagements and content development for industry events
  • Establishing good relationships with various teams (operations, marketing, community management) to ensure good operational synergy
  • Lead sourcing - Must be able to prospect creatively and persistently to convince targets to take meetings
  • End-to-end selling (prospecting and opportunity sourcing through qualification, discovery, positioning, negotiating, closing)
