Requirements

  • 5+ years of data analysis experience
  • 1+ years of marketing or customer analytics experience
  • Experience building presentations and telling a story to stakeholders using data
  • Experience writing SQL queries to answer product or business questions
  • Experience building reports and dashboards using BI tools like Looker, Tableau, or Salesforce
  • Proven ability to analyze and evaluate proposed solutions by considering technical feasibility, business impact, and cost-benefit tradeoffs to recommend the optimal approach
  • Strong communication skills; demonstrated success collaborating with diverse stakeholders across all levels and departments (e.g., product, engineering, marketing, sales) to understand their unique needs, priorities, and challenges
  • The ability to take ownership of ambiguous problems and drive them to completion; you have a strong work ethic and high sense of urgency
  • Creative problem solver who is highly organized
  • You are curious and passionate about data and love learning to improve your skills

Responsibilities

  • Communicate Insights Effectively: Present your findings and recommendations to marketing leadership and stakeholders through compelling presentations and data visualizations, effectively translating data into actionable narratives
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Growth Team: Partner closely with marketing and growth team members to set KPIs, define measurement strategies, and analyze campaign outcomes, ensuring alignment between marketing and growth activities and company goals
  • Contextual Focus on Customer Analytics: Utilize various analytical tools and datasets to identify KPIs, trends, and insights specifically related to marketing and customer performance (i.e. campaign effectiveness, customer acquisition cost, website traffic analysis, etc.)
  • Develop and Iterate Visualizations: Build and manage recurring marketing KPI reports and dashboards, providing a clear and comprehensive view of marketing performance
  • Provide Data-Driven Recommendations: Use data to answer critical marketing questions, conduct in-depth analysis, and offer actionable insights and recommendations to the marketing team to improve campaign performance and overall marketing effectiveness

Preferred Qualifications

Salesforce (Sigma experience is a plus)
