Requirements

  • 8+ years in customer marketing and advocacy; experience working in technology, SaaS, and security
  • Proven ability to understand technical products and discern the quality of use cases for storytelling
  • A customer obsessed mindset and passion for storytelling
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience working with executives, both internal and external
  • Crossโ€“functional project management skills
  • A willingness to adapt to change, move quickly, and think on your feet

Responsibilities

  • Establish the strategy for customer storytelling across programs, ultimately highlighting a variety of customer stories across verticals, geographies, segments, and use cases
  • Define KPIs for the program, evangelize those metrics with go-to-market leaders, and ultimately track the success of customer stories
  • Uncover new customer champions for case studies, customer testimonials, logo approvals, speaking opportunities, peer reviews, and more
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, customer success, and product teams to identify and recruit new champions
  • Create compelling content, such as case studies, blogs, videos, presentations, and more; recruiting, interviewing, and securing customer approvals
  • Manage and evolve ongoing customer programs and advocacy efforts, such as events, reviews, and more
  • Create customer reference materials at scale using our reference platform and drive advocacy activities within our customer community
  • Find opportunities to creatively celebrate customers' significant milestones and their contributions in elevating Chainguardโ€™s brand
