Summary
Join Nextech's Enterprise Analytics team as a Senior Data Analyst to develop and maintain Power BI dashboards. You will design interactive dashboards, create data models using DAX and Power Query, collaborate with cross-functional teams, integrate data from various sources, and optimize report performance. Provide training and support to end-users. This role requires a Bachelor's degree, 3+ years of experience in data analysis and Power BI, and proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), and SQL. Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Admin or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis and Power BI development
- Proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), and SQL
- Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data visualization best practices
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to support departmental and enterprise-wide analytics needs
- Data Modeling: Create and optimize data models using DAX and Power Query (M) to ensure efficient and accurate reporting
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, understand business needs, ad deliver tailored analytics solutions
- Data Integration: Integrate data from various sources, including SQL databases and cloud-based systems, ensuring data accuracy and consistency
- Performance Optimization: Monitor and enhance the performance of Power BI reports and dashboards, implementing best practices for scalability and usability
- Training & Support: Provide training and support to end-users, promoting data literacy and effective use of analytics tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Azure Data Services (e.g., Azure SQL, Synapse, Data Factory)
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Netsuite, etc) and their data structures
- Knowledge of Python or R for advanced analytics
- Certification in Power BI or related data analysis tools
