Senior Data Analyst

Summary

Join Nextech's Enterprise Analytics team as a Senior Data Analyst to develop and maintain Power BI dashboards. You will design interactive dashboards, create data models using DAX and Power Query, collaborate with cross-functional teams, integrate data from various sources, and optimize report performance. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Admin or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis and Power BI development
• Proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), and SQL
• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data visualization best practices
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to support departmental and enterprise-wide analytics needs
• Data Modeling: Create and optimize data models using DAX and Power Query (M) to ensure efficient and accurate reporting
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, understand business needs, ad deliver tailored analytics solutions
• Data Integration: Integrate data from various sources, including SQL databases and cloud-based systems, ensuring data accuracy and consistency
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and enhance the performance of Power BI reports and dashboards, implementing best practices for scalability and usability
• Training & Support: Provide training and support to end-users, promoting data literacy and effective use of analytics tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure Data Services (e.g., Azure SQL, Synapse, Data Factory)
• Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Netsuite, etc) and their data structures
• Knowledge of Python or R for advanced analytics
• Certification in Power BI or related data analysis tools
