Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience working in data science and analytics, ideally within supply chain, manufacturing, or operations functions
  • BA/BS in a quantitative field such as computer science, operations research, statistics, engineering or a BA/BS in behavioral science (economics, psychology, etc) with an applied background in data
  • Excellent SQL and Python skills
  • Strong communication skills and experience communicating results in a way that drives change. You have the ability to use data to inform, align, and lead
  • Strong senses of velocity, autonomy, and ownership
  • Strong critical thinking & problem solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Build production models to automate and optimize decision processes within our manufacturing facilities
  • Drive performance within Supply Chain & Operations through experimentation and simulation modeling
  • Develop and share insights that influence the various supply teams and partner functions, such as operations and product
  • Define the data language (i.e. KPIs, dashboards, measurement, etc) within Supply Chain & Operations to reduce ambiguity and drive accountability
  • Actively uplevel the Data organization through mentoring other analysts

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have hands on-experience embedded in operations-heavy teams
  • Familiarity with generative AI concepts
  • Interest in working and learning in an earlier stage company where we’re still working out some of the basics
  • Strong customer empathy, particularly for dentists
  • Experience with Hex, Dagster, and DBT
