Requirements
- 6+ years of experience working in data science and analytics, ideally within supply chain, manufacturing, or operations functions
- BA/BS in a quantitative field such as computer science, operations research, statistics, engineering or a BA/BS in behavioral science (economics, psychology, etc) with an applied background in data
- Excellent SQL and Python skills
- Strong communication skills and experience communicating results in a way that drives change. You have the ability to use data to inform, align, and lead
- Strong senses of velocity, autonomy, and ownership
- Strong critical thinking & problem solving skills
Responsibilities
- Build production models to automate and optimize decision processes within our manufacturing facilities
- Drive performance within Supply Chain & Operations through experimentation and simulation modeling
- Develop and share insights that influence the various supply teams and partner functions, such as operations and product
- Define the data language (i.e. KPIs, dashboards, measurement, etc) within Supply Chain & Operations to reduce ambiguity and drive accountability
- Actively uplevel the Data organization through mentoring other analysts
Preferred Qualifications
- Have hands on-experience embedded in operations-heavy teams
- Familiarity with generative AI concepts
- Interest in working and learning in an earlier stage company where weβre still working out some of the basics
- Strong customer empathy, particularly for dentists
- Experience with Hex, Dagster, and DBT
