Summary
Join Hack The Box as the Senior Director of Global Solutions Engineering, leading and scaling the worldwide Solutions Engineering team. This role is accountable for building and operationalizing a high-impact SE function that accelerates growth, enhances customer experience, and drives technical credibility. You will architect a globally consistent SE operating model, focusing on enablement, process standardization, and partnership with regional sales and success teams. Coaching and developing talent, implementing effective presales/post-sales processes, and aligning with GTM stakeholders are key responsibilities. The position reports to the CRO and involves close collaboration with various teams to support complex deals, ensure seamless transitions, and provide insights. This is a fully remote position, preferably based on the US East Coast.
Requirements
- 10+ years in Solutions Engineering, Presales, or Solution Architecture, with 4+ years leading global or cross-regional SE teams
- Demonstrated success in designing and operationalizing successfully presales and post-sales SE processes within a global revenue organization
- Expertise in Enterprise Cybersecurity SaaS, with working knowledge of security operations frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, NIST/NICE, ENISA, OWASP) and ability to articulate value across security stakeholder roles
- Proven ability to collaborate with regional sales leaders, align on GTM strategy, and support enterprise deal execution
- Strong analytical and operational mindset, with experience defining and managing SE KPIs and performance metrics
Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and scale a high-performing global SE team, fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, and customer-first execution
- Coach and grow SE talent through intentional development programs, hands-on mentoring, and clear advancement paths across geographies
- Design and implement scalable SE processes that span both pre-sales (qualification, demos, POVs, workshops) and post-sales (technical handoff, onboarding, adoption, and expansion)
- Establish a standardized global SE operating model, including frameworks, tooling, and documentation, while enabling regional flexibility to meet local market dynamics
- Define and track performance metrics (e.g., POV success rates, pre-to-post sales conversion, SE utilization, revenue influence) to improve operational efficiency and business outcomes
- Partner closely with regional Sales and Success leadership to drive strategic alignment, support high-priority deals, and deliver a seamless customer journey
- Influence product direction and go-to-market messaging by channeling field insights into Product, Content, and Enablement teams
