Join HubSpot as a Senior Director of Product, AI and lead the AI strategy for customer-facing AI across the platform. Define and own the long-term vision, multi-year strategy, and roadmap for Customer Assistant AI. Lead and mentor a team of senior Product Managers in generative AI, conversational AI, and automation. Requirements
- Has 10+ years of product management experience, with 1+ years leading product orgs in applied AI, ML, or automation
- Brings deep expertise in B2B SaaS, particularly in customer experience, service platforms, or support tooling
- Has a track record of delivering AI-powered features at scale —including LLM-based workflows, chatbots, or predictive systems
- Thinks strategically but is also comfortable driving execution and trade-offs in complex environments
- Brings strong product instincts and a clear sense for where AI adds real value to user experience
- Communicates clearly and effectively with executives, technical stakeholders, and cross-functional leaders
- Has led go-to-market strategy and execution, ensuring successful launches, adoption, and alignment across Marketing, Sales, and CS
- Builds inclusive, high-trust teams and leads with humility, clarity, and purpose
Responsibilities
- Define and own the long-term vision, multi-year strategy, and roadmap for Customer Assistant AI across the HubSpot platform
- Lead and mentor a team of senior Product Managers across multiple domains including generative AI, conversational AI, and automation
- Deliver end-to-end, intelligent AI experiences that are embedded seamlessly across Hubs , empowering customers to resolve issues, take action, and drive growth
- Partner closely with senior leaders in Engineering, UX, and Data Science to ensure reliable, ethical, and scalable AI systems
- Champion AI ethics, transparency, and utility—grounding every product decision in trust and customer value
- Act as the executive point of contact for Customer Assistant AI, influencing strategy at the C-suite level and collaborating with cross-functional VPs and GMs
- Scale HubSpot’s Customer Assistant AI strategy across the business—covering: Virtual agents and embedded chatbots. AI-powered support flows that minimize friction. Intelligent assistance across marketing, sales, and service use cases
- Build, grow, and empower a high-impact product org focused on AI, ML infrastructure, and platform intelligence
- Lead cross-functional alignment across Product, Engineering, GTM, and Marketing to ensure cohesive delivery and messaging of AI capabilities
- Shape monetization, packaging, and positioning strategies for AI products in partnership with finance and GTM teams
- Set and track success metrics through experimentation, analytics, and continuous user feedback
- Maintain a pulse on emerging AI trends—LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), vector search, etc.—to inform strategy and identify breakthrough opportunities
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, or vector search
- Experience building agentic systems or conversational AI interfaces
- Familiarity with HubSpot, product-led growth (PLG), or usage-based pricing models

- Annual Cash Compensation Range: $314,375 — $503,000 USD
- HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs)
