Summary
Join BeyondTrust as a Sr. Financial Analyst, Product & Engineering, and bridge the gap between business partners and corporate finance. You will provide insights to stakeholders, driving data-driven decisions. Partnering with the CTO and Product & Engineering leadership, you will plan, prioritize, and support company initiatives. Success requires strong partnership and communication skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and comfort with ambiguity in a fast-growing organization. You will be responsible for creating and analyzing forecasts, identifying cost efficiencies, developing key metrics, and managing financial close processes. The role demands strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and proficiency in Excel.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years in varying FP&A roles
- Previous FP&A experience in a B2B SaaS and/or subscription business model
- Strong experience and expertise in topline FP&A. This includes the ability to create, analyze, and refine forecasts for revenue, bookings, and other key performance indicators (KPIs) specific to the SaaS industry
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively translate for non-finance audiences of varying levels
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Excellent modeling skills; highly proficient in Excel
- High performance standards with high ethical values and passion for excellence
- Proven ability to operate and succeed within a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary finance business partner to the Product and Engineering leadership team
- Help drive revenue growth and margin optimization from a finance standpoint by creating, analyzing, and refining product-level forecasts for revenue, bookings, and other key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Partner with cross-functional teams to enable enterprise-wide initiatives, such as increasing gross margin visibility and implementing reporting and processes to monitor and control costs
- Identify, recommend, and drive Cloud Infrastructure cost efficiencies across the company
- Develop and/or enhance key metrics and reports that bring insightful and actionable insights
- Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, annual planning, and corporate reporting requirements for Gross Margin, Product, and Engineering
- Perform ad hoc analyses as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior R&D, Product, or Engineering Finance experience preferred, especially with cloud infrastructure strongly preferred
- Prior experience with Financial Reporting systems, Netsuite, and Adaptive strongly preferred
- Prior business partnering experience, or demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional leaders
