Requirements

  • Experience: 8-10+ years in product management, growth, or related roles, with a strong focus on PLG and cloud marketplace strategies
  • Funnel Expertise: Demonstrated ability to analyze and optimize top-of-funnel (lead generation), middle-of-funnel (engagement), and bottom-of-funnel (conversion and retention) growth motions
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SaaS models, data analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Tableau, Google Analytics), and A/B testing frameworks
  • Leadership: Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex growth initiatives
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to identify and execute high-impact growth opportunities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement a comprehensive PLG strategy, focusing on driving user acquisition, engagement, and retention
  • Track, analyze, and optimize the entire PLG funnel: top-of-funnel (awareness and acquisition), middle-of-funnel (activation and engagement), and bottom-of-funnel (conversion and retention)
  • Develop and refine self-serve models, free trials, and freemium offerings to drive customer acquisition and conversions
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to identify and prioritize features that accelerate product adoption and reduce churn
  • Drive growth and revenue through cloud marketplaces such as AWS, Azure, and GCP by developing optimized strategies and partnerships
  • Own and enhance product listings for discoverability and engagement, including SEO, co-marketing campaigns, and content optimization
  • Work with cloud providers to leverage incentives, sales opportunities, and joint marketing initiatives
  • Lead private marketplace offerings to attract enterprise customers, collaborating closely with Sales and Marketing teams
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams to align on growth initiatives and ensure seamless execution
  • Incorporate customer feedback and market trends into product roadmaps and prioritize initiatives with the greatest business impact
  • Serve as a growth evangelist across the organization, ensuring all teams are aligned on PLG objectives
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for PLG and marketplace initiatives, tracking success across the entire funnel
  • Conduct regular reporting and present updates to leadership, showcasing growth progress, challenges, and opportunities
  • Use competitive analysis and market research to identify gaps and areas for differentiation
