Requirements
- 8 - 10 years of experience in growth, digital marketing, product marketing, product or similar roles, preferably within B2B SaaS or online marketplaces
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing growth strategies, optimizing conversion funnels, and streamlining user experiences
- Proven track record of driving quantified improvements to key customer journey, conversion funnel and marketplace performance metrics
- Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies, experimentation frameworks, and user research techniques
- Hands-on understanding of app-integrated marketing and data technologies that can be applied to execute growth experiments. Familiarity with Intercom or similar tools very helpful
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making in a SaaS or Marketplace context. Proficiency in using app analytics tools such as Amplitude, Heap or Mixpanel
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to drive efforts across marketing, product, data, engineering, sales and operations teams
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute growth strategies: Formulate and validate growth hypotheses, devise and execute initiatives and experiments, to improve conversion performance, streamline the customer journey, and drive growth loops/flywheels on the supply side of our marketplace app
- Identify key areas of opportunity and develop action plans to drive supply-side growth (activation, retention, and monetization)
- Concurrently incentivize supply-side partners to take actions that positively impact the demand-side of the marketplace
- Conversion rate optimization (CRO): Analyze and optimize the conversion funnel on the supply side, focusing on key stages including onboarding, activation, and conversion. Utilize data-driven insights and experimentation to improve conversion rates and drive efficiency
- User experience optimization: Work with product, design, and engineering teams to enhance the user experience on the supply side. Identify pain points, streamline processes, and implement improvements to increase engagement and drive conversion performance
- Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate closely with product, marketing, sales and operations teams to align growth strategies with product enhancements, marketing campaigns, sales and operational improvements. Provide insights and feedback on product roadmap prioritization based on growth strategy needs
- Data analysis and performance tracking: Monitor and analyze key performance metrics related to conversion rates, customer journey efficiency, and supplier growth. Utilize data-driven insights to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for optimization. Generate reports and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders
- Experimentation and iteration: Drive a culture of continuous experimentation, testing, and learning by iterating on growth hypotheses, messaging, user experiences, and conversion optimization initiatives
- Stay informed on marketplace trends: Stay up to date with the latest trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to two-sided marketplaces, B2B SaaS, and the legalized cannabis market. Apply relevant insights to enhance growth strategies and maintain a competitive edge
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of the legalized cannabis industry, market dynamics, and supplier needs
- Bachelor's degree in economics, business, marketing, engineering or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
