Requirements
- 3-5+ years of relevant work experience in HRIS and HR reporting, analysis, and insights; 5-7+ years of total HR experience is ideal
- Proficiency in using various HRIS system functionalities for employee data management, reporting, and analysis
- Strong understanding of HR processes and data management, exceptional analytical skills, and an eye for detail
- A data-focused and process-driven mindset
- Advanced level Excel or Google Sheets skills including macros, pivot tables, and some VBA
- Experience building & maintaining file feeds with vendors
- Experience in an org-wide HRIS implementation
- Ability to analyze data critically to find meaningful insights
- Demonstrated ability to manage through ambiguity and competing priorities
- A solution-minded approach to overcoming challenges and designing effective solutions
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
- Proven ability to scale data reports and experience working with large and complex datasets
- Strong communication skills and ability to partner cross-functionally and convey information effectively
- Ability to present data insights to non-technical audiences in clear and accessible ways
- Dedication to strong ownership, confidentiality, and a customer-focused approach, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service to internal stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field
Responsibilities
- Optimize the People Operations’ system functionality through continuous process improvement, automation, or other system enhancements to deliver an excellent and efficient end-user experience
- Support and maintain all aspects of the organization’s People Operations information systems (HRIS and other systems)
- Ensure the completeness and accuracy of employee records including all employee changes (i.e., salary, payroll/tax, and benefits)
- Conduct periodic audits to ensure the accuracy and compliance of data
- Partner with vendors to ensure system file feeds are accurate and timely
- Develop custom reports to meet the requests and requirements of HR, management, and senior leadership
- Support benefits and payroll staff with system and report configuration to promote end-user self-sufficiency (Preparing and scheduling reports, scorecards, and dashboards)
- Partner with the People Operations and Payroll team to ensure system configurations and processes are fully integrated and compliant with applicable wage and hour and labor laws
- Examine and interpret People Operations data to support workforce planning, recruitment, turnover, and other areas critical to staffing
- Partner with People Operations, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Finance, IT, and others to provide support for reporting requests and analysis
- Provide actionable insights drawn from historical People Operations performance metrics and KPIs
- Create sophisticated visualizations and data products that help stakeholders make informed decisions
- Package metrics and insights for management to communicate with all levels of stakeholders
- Work with the People Operations team and other stakeholders in the implementation, and integration of HR solutions in anticipation of business needs and the changing environment
- Analyze current processes and make recommendations for process and employee experience improvement via the use of technology
- Serve as the HRIS subject matter expert and support for ongoing and annual People Operations initiatives such as performance management, annual compensation planning, and annual benefits enrollment
- Provide HRIS training and hands-on support for the People Operations team
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within Media, digital marketing, technology, or tech-enabled services environments preferred
- Residency in the Central Time Zone
- Paycom experience
