Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in information security, networking, or systems administration, tackling vulnerability and configuration management in a real-world enterprise environment
- Deep understanding of Linux, Windows, and Mac systems. Configuration management, vulnerability management, and patching
- Effectively convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences, and have a knack for influencing others
- Think outside the box and bring fresh ideas to the table. Driven to make a real impact on our business and your own career
Responsibilities
- Uncover vulnerabilities, analyze risks, and develop strategies to strengthen our defenses across our on-premise infrastructure and endpoints
- Take ownership of the vulnerability lifecycle, from identification and prioritization to remediation, ensuring our security policies are upheld
- Become the maestro of our IT asset inventory, meticulously tracking hardware, software, licenses, and end-of-support dates. Ensure compliance, anticipate future needs, and drive upgrades or replacements
- Craft insightful reports and dashboards that illuminate the status of our IT assets and lifecycle stages, enabling data-driven decisions to optimize our processes
- Embrace continuous learning, diving into cybersecurity concepts, vendor technologies, and emerging threats to remain at the forefront of this dynamic field
- Rapidly master new cybersecurity platforms and technologies, leveraging provided resources and training to expand your skillset
- Partner with vendors to troubleshoot issues, optimize configurations, and ensure our systems are running smoothly
Preferred Qualifications
