Summary
Join Graphite, a digital marketing agency, as a Senior Legal Lead and assist the Director of Legal with daily tasks. You will draft, review, and negotiate contracts; support leadership with new initiatives; provide support in vendor onboarding; identify legal issues and risks; follow up on regulatory matters; collaborate with an international team; and manage contracts and NDA analysis. This fully remote position requires a Law Degree, 5+ years of relevant experience, strong commercial law knowledge, proven contract drafting and negotiation skills, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach. Requirements
- Law Degree
- 5+ years of experience in similar roles in-house or in a Law firm
- Strong knowledge of Commercial Law. Knowledge of Corporate, Labour, or IP Law is highly desirable
- Proven experience in drafting, negotiating, and advising on commercial contracts, with a pragmatic and commercial approach, in English
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask & prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proactive, highly organized, and with a sense of urgency
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts
- Support leadership with new initiatives, including product development and intellectual property matters
- Provide support in the intake-to-procure processes for Graphite’s vendors, including onboarding
- Identification of legal issues and risks that may affect Graphite
- Follow up on regulatory matters under different frameworks
- Work along with an international team of lawyers to establish contract templates and workstreams
- NDA analysis and tracking
- Contracts management
Preferred Qualifications
LLM would be a big plus
