Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in event planning, coordination and execution
  • Proven track record of successfully managing a variety of events, from concept to completion
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Must be creative and well-versed in pop culture and trends within the retail industry
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Willingness to travel as needed for event execution, including some weekends and bank holidays

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate and execute a variety of events, including trade shows, conferences, hosted dinners, activations, and partner events
  • Develop event concepts, themes, and agendas in alignment with marketing goals and brand messaging
  • Create detailed project plans, timelines and budgets for each event
  • Support on all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, catering, audiovisual requirements and creatives
  • Coordinate with design teams to produce event materials, signage and promotional items
  • Support on-site management at all events
  • Monitor and track expenses
  • Identify, negotiate and manage relationships with external vendors, partners, and agencies to ensure high-quality event execution
  • Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in event planning and management
  • Propose innovative ideas and solutions to continuously improve the effectiveness and creativeness of events and activations

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in retail, ecommerce, and supply chain / logistics events are a plus
