Join Hitachi Vantara as a Senior Manager | Pre-Sales Consultant and play a key role in architecting customer solutions, providing pre-sales software and hardware expertise. Collaborate with sales teams, consultants, and clients to align Hitachi Vantara technology solutions with business strategies. Leverage your strong knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies and project management skills to develop and deliver presentations. Mentor and coach other Solutions Consultants, actively support company change programs, and engage with director-level and higher customer leadership. This role requires 10+ years of IT experience and 3-5 years managing consulting presales roles in the storage/technology industry. Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in the Information Technology industry
  • Track record of success in Business Technology related sales environment with excellent customer skills
  • Ability to develop and deliver well-structured presentations (including whiteboarding) with information appropriate for the desired audience
  • Personable, Persuasive and Articulate – Able to represent Hitachi Vantara positively to customers, build positive relationships of influence, and ability to communicate well (written and verbally)

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Regional Sales Leadership Team to prioritize and target team opportunities
  • Directly engage with Director-level and higher customer and partner leadership to understand customer business issues and bring the right resources to bear in developing and proposing solutions
  • Develop positive relationships with other organizational leadership to ensure constant collaboration and synchronization between the technical sales process and delivery execution
  • Work closely with product management and product marketing to collaborate on solutions and opportunity pursuits
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to the Solutions Consultants (SCs)
  • Actively support company change programs and act as a role model for solution selling

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in managing Consulting Presales roles in the Storage/Technology Industry or in a High-Value Solutions Infrastructure company desired
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies such as; Storage, Server technologies, Virtualization/VMware, AI/ML, Containers, Business Continuity, Data Protection, SAN, LAN/WAN Concepts and Architectures desired
