Join 1Password as a Senior Manager, Product Marketing to lead the product marketing strategy for device and application security solutions. You will define the future of securing devices and applications, deliver the story of the Extended Access Management (XAM) platform, and drive market positioning and messaging. This role requires 10+ years of SaaS enterprise product marketing experience, including 5+ years in cybersecurity and 3+ years in people leadership. You will lead a team, conduct market research, create compelling messaging, and collaborate with sales and marketing. Requirements
- 10+ years of SaaS enterprise product marketing experience
- 5+ years in cybersecurity
- 3+ years in a people leadership role
- Proven ability to launch and scale enterprise security products
- Expertise across customer research, messaging, packaging, competitive positioning, storytelling, and sales enablement
- Ability to align go-to-market strategies with evolving customer needs and industry trends
- Deep knowledge of workforce security, access management, and emerging threats
- Insight into evolving IT and security priorities
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to align and influence cross-functional teams
Responsibilities
- Lead launch and adoption strategies for innovative new device, application, and platform capabilities, empowering organizations to stay secure
- Develop product marketing strategy
- Support the growth of the Extended Access Management category and expand 1Passwordโs role in securing devices and applications
- Guide launch and adoption strategies for device, application, and platform security solutions
- Develop and mentor the team
- Coach and support a high-performing product marketing team, fostering accountability and growth
- Drive insights
- Conduct research to inform strategy, improving win rates, deal sizes, and market share while identifying competitive threats
- Create narratives and messaging
- Craft compelling messaging that differentiates 1Password from legacy MDM, IGA, IAM, and SSO solutions - helping us win against key competitors
- Activate with sales and marketing
- Equip sales with training and tools while driving XAM adoption through targeted campaigns
- Measure and optimize
- Track KPIs to refine strategies, driving product sales growth, customer adoption, and competitive wins
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications in product marketing (e.g., Pragmatic Institute, Product Marketing Alliance) and security fundamentals (e.g., Forrester Zero Trust, Security+, etc.)
- Bachelor or Masterโs in Technology, Marketing, or related field or equivalent work experience
